White Jade Bodhi Root is not a tree root, nor is it jade, but the seed of the Bay Leaf Palm.
The skin of the original seed is rough like tree bark, with slightly raised patterns on it.
When cut, the inner part is like white jade.
The white color is slightly yellowish, and the texture is as warm as jade, so it is called white jade linden.
Bodhi will oxidize and change color after a long time.
After playing for a long time, there are cracks on the beads as if the ice surface has been cracked, which is called "open flake".
The name "open piece", the more ancient.
How to maintain the linden:
①, linden is easy to dry and cracked by the wind for a long time, usually if you don't wear it put it into a sealed bag.
②, the new linden must not dip in water, because linden is a seed, water will inevitably swell, which will lead to cracking, peeling, damage to the beads, such as beads played for a long time, after the pulp dip in the water will be fine.
③, linden should not be exposed to the sun, temperature aggregation, long-term exposure to the natural environment, the surface of the white jade linden will appear cracks or peeling phenomenon.
④, linden will become dirty if you wear it for a long time, the new dust stains on the stick can be used to wring out a wet towel to wipe, more stubborn can try to use a small soft system, a little less dipped in olive oil to rub lightly, the oil can not be too much, otherwise it is easy to form a flower point.
⑤, linden itself is a plant seed, and our palms will secrete sweat and other greasy substances, so if you want to make linden pulp, we should often use our hands to touch, so that the whole of them are similar luster and color, summer we are prone to sweating secretion of grease, so the summer is suitable for wearing linden.
