Liubao tea is a famous tea of China for thousands of years, belonging to the black tea category, named after Liubao Township, Cangwu County, Wuzhou City, Guangxi Province, where it originated. During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, Liubao tea was listed as one of the 24 famous teas in China for its unique betel nut flavor.
